John Burrow Memorial Fundraiser
In loving memory of John Ross Burrow, a former Feeding Children Intern that believed no one should go hungry.

We would like to thank all the wonderful volunteers and contributors that have made two food packs in John's honor such a great success. There were about 120 volunteers at each event.
The family will continue to update this site and to donate on this site to work towards a third pack. The first 2 packs combined for a total of 75,000 meals. We are working to put that number over 100,000. Feel free to contribute with us and help to keep one of John's many goals alive, to eliminate hunger. Every $1 is 4 life-saving meals!
Previous Packs.:
On May 13th 2017, we packaged 50,000 meals in Frederick County, VA. These meals were distributed in John's honor to the Boys & Girls Club, Congregational Community Action Project "CCAP", and Shenandoah County Food Bank.
On April 14th, 2018 in Asheboro, NC we honored John and and his grandfather O.C. Burrow, a former teacher and coach in Randolph County by packaging 25,000 meals for Randolph County, NC. These meals were contributed in their honor to the Christians United Outreach Center "CUOC", who will distribute the meals as needed in county.
About John & O.C.:
John Burrow
John was a beloved former intern at Feeding Children Everywhere that was known for his sense of humor, his smiles and hugs, and his love of serving others. He graduated from George Mason University and was a graphic design artist for Patricia Hord Graphik Design in Alexandria, VA. John was a round-the-clock caregiver for his granddaddy, O.C. until his passing. John had applied for and dreamed of serving in the Peace Corp.
O.C. Burrow
O.C. was a high school teacher and football coach in Randolph County for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, was a member of Totally Committed Ministries, and a member of the Sons of Thunder motorcycle ministry. He was also a lifetime member of the Asheboro Kiwanis Club.
