DESCRIPTION:U.S. Hunger is proud to present the 3rd Annual MLK Day of Service Million Meal Pack. \nThis event is a testament to the power of communities coming together in the spirit of service and volunteerism to make a difference through community service. In collaboration with The Orlando Mayor’s Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. Commission and the Orange County MLK Initiative\, we will pack and distribute 1 million healthy meals of food relief throughout Central Florida! \nThere are several volunteer roles with multiple shift times to choose which option works best for you below: \nAs a Community Volunteer\, you will be assigned a role on the assembly line to help us package 1 Million Meals!  \nJOIN THE WAITLIST – COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS \nAs a Heavy Lifter\, you will work alongside our staff to move boxes\, wrap pallets\, and fill bins with food products as volunteers package 1 Million Meals! At the end of the event\, your muscles may be sore\, but your heart will be full! \nAs a Table Captain\, you will work alongside our staff to train volunteers\, reset assembly lines\, and help with general clean up as volunteers package 1 Million Meals in honor of MLK Day of Service!  \nTABLE CAPTAIN & HEAVY LIFTER REGISTRATION \n“EVERYBODY CAN BE GREAT BECAUSE EVERYBODY CAN SERVE” – Martin Luther King Jr.
